We nare fast drawing to an end of our Chain Card Swap. It’s round 9 of the Card Chain Swap that we started in May. It’s a fun journey with 9 other Australian demonstrators. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia. Each of us designed a card (in mailing round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything / Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. This is the second card in this series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.
My card below was the 2nd version of the card made by Genna Gifford, a fellow Melbournian. So if you want to see how the design started out be sure to check hers out first and follow around in order. Some of the ladies blog and some share to their Facebook Pages (or both).

This fabulous technique is really much easier than it looks. Cut your cardstock layers to size of choice. Tack lightly the three stamping layers on top of each other. Stamp as normal. Yes it won’t stamp well over the edges where the layers cover each other. But that it easily covered up by the mat layers. I used a retired stamp set – but similar sets are avaliable to purchase – or search your stash for larger images with a base and outline/shade stamp for best results. Hope you have a crafty day.
