I’m in love with the February Stampin’ Up! Product of the Month! It is a fanastical Designer Series Paper Pack – “Painted Illusions 12 x 12 DSP”. So it was perfect for this wedding layout that I’ve created as part of our Product Of The Month (POM) blog hop.
If you haven’t heard of POM yet, this is what it is all about. Stampin’ Up! has started a new monthly promotion. Every month there will be a new product. To get your hands on the product, all you need to do is place an order. If your order is $125 (in Australia – the $amount will differ depending on your market) then you can add the Product Of The Month to your order for only $9. We won’t know in advance what the POM will be. It could be a stamp set, embellishments, ribbon, dies or any other paper crafting product. No matter what it is, paying $9 is a bargain!
To create this layout I cut a heart from the centre of the base page. The stamped a variety of sentiments and flowers from a couple of different stamp sets: Swirled Designs #167030; Banner Sayings #167044; Simply Beautiful #166958; Reason to Celebrate #166905. Plus the matching inks: Pretty Peacock; Misty Moonlight; Granny Apple Green; Flirty Flamingo; Lost Lagoon; Petal Pink; and Darling Duckling.
Then I added torn edge strips of the DSP to show through the heart. Added a couple of titles from the “Unforgetable Times Mix & Match Specialty Ephemera Pack” #166987. And ofcourse some bling: Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems (WSL) #165615; Delightful Decorative Dots #165915; and 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls #165192.
The photo mat is Granny Apple Green two tone cardstock, on the light side. Such a fun layout for a beautiful garden wedding in January.
