Today I’d like to share with you some Holidays Cards that I created using my left overs from a Holly & Ivy paper packet and the stamp set Holly & Ivy Scrapbooking (D2050). The sentiment came from D2052 For All Occasions. And yes these are very typical Christmas cards for me – where I am using a lot of strips.
For those who follow my blog, yes there cards do resemble cards I shared last month using Holly & Ivy papers and PML cards. I said then that I’d be back with more cards from these fabulous papers. Again I am using up all the bits and pieces that I had left after creating layouts and other cards. I don’t know about you, but I always seem to end up with lots of odd strips in a variety of thicknesses. There are off cuts from PML cards, there are left over Holly & Ivy Die Cuts, and of course zip strips. I’ve stamped in Candy Apple Exclusive Stamp Pad and the Intense Black Stamp Pad. I just love the rich black that it gives when you stamp. on some cards I’ve added some Gold Glitter Gems too.

Hello and welcome aboard our November Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from Creative Inspirations then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s Novembers Stamp of the Month – Created To Shine (S2111). This fun stamp set has lots of cool uses and I can see it being used on both layouts and cards. However, something I learnt in some Art Journaling Courses that I’ve taken over the years – we spend so much on our stamps that we should get an much use as we can.
So I decided to cut up the light bulb stamp, so that I had each globe on it’s hanging wire individually. This then allowed me to stamp each globe individually. I created my base colour with different distress oxide inks. And then stamped on top with black distress oxide. I let them sit for about 1/2 an hour to let the ink dry a bit. Each globe was individually cut out. Then I used them as petals of my flowers.
This exclusive D-size Created To Shine (S2111) stamp set (only available in November) can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here.

Hello and welcome aboard our Thin Cuts Close to My Heart Blog Hop. This is a new adventure for me, an Australian Maker, joining in with some of the North American Makers in their blog hop. Today I would like to share with you some creations which feature some of the Close To My Heart’s Thin Cuts (or dies in non CTMH speak).
For these cute “handbag cards” I’ve used the CTMH Purse Card Thin Cuts (Z5033). This set comes with all the little details – the buckle, the bag tag, the bow etc. For the main body of these cards I’ve cut the pieces from cardstock and added the patterned top flap cut from papers from the Holly & Ivy Collection (X7273B). I’ve added a gold glitter star, cut on my cricut, to one of the bag tags, on another I’ve used a flower from the Layered Flowers Thin Cuts (Z4324). With the flower I cut the base layer from Papaya Glitter Paper (Z2543). The bow is cut from Scarlet Glitter Paper (Z3839) with a Gold Glitter Gem added to the centre. Whilst you can see the insides – I’ve cut gift card tabs using the Gift Card Tabs thin Cuts (Z5036).
I am loving these Cupcake Card Thin Cuts (Z5034). They make a fabulous card, but I could also see them used as party invitations, place cards at parties, on my scrapbook layouts to celebrate birthdays etc. This particular trio were designed to help showcase a lot of our beautiful specialty papers. The middle cupcake uses both Twinkle Toes Holographic Paper (Z3674) and Copper Ore Paper (Z3880). Whilst the other two use Silver Foil Paper (Z3366) over cardstock and patterned papers. The sparkly chocolate icing is Mocha Glitter Paper (Z2540) and the sprinkles are Bitty Beads glued in with Liquid Glass. I love how the glitter paper hid the fact that I applied a bit too much Liquid Glass. The pink icing has glitter paper sprinkles, and the cherry is a mix of glitter paper with a cardstock stem that is coated in Liquid Glass to both make it shine, but also to make it more rigid. The white icing is the Pearl Paper (Z3881), again with glitter paper sprinkles. The candle is a mix of Scarlet Glitter Paper for the flames and White Daisy cardstock coated in Moon Dust Stickles Glitter Gel (Z3806).
All the thin cuts used in these creations are available, WSL, for the life of the 21/22 Annual Catalogue. Please contact your Maker to purchase. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here. (For any North American Visitors, sorry I’m only allowed to sell to Australian’s at this stage.)

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Layered Flowers Blog Hop.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s Layered Flowers Thin Cuts (Z4324). I just love this set of 17 dies. There is so much versatility in these fabulous flowers – on both layouts and cards. These dies are one of numerous sets of dies that CTMH have released as part of their Annual Catalogue September 2021 – August 2022.
This page was inspired by a layout that my friend Alison Dunn shared with me. The flowers and leaves cut in some of the CTMH two toned coloured cardstock is fabulous. One side of the cardstock is darker than the other. I’ve used the new colours Wild Berry, Papaya and Harbour, to give a pop of colour on the black and white of the Love Story papers (X8021B).
This time around I’ve combined the Layered Flowers with another new die set – Purse Card (Z5033). The dies cuts the CTMH glitter cardstock beautifully – I’ve used it in the Toffee coloured purse as the base layer of the flower so that it shows through as the flowers centre. On the pink purse I used the leaf stem to cut leaves, but then trimmed off two to use under my flower.
This exclusive Layered Flowers Thin Cut set is only available for $81.50AU, while stocks last, for the life of the current Annual Catalogue (August 2022). Contact your CTMH maker to place an order. If you do not have a maker please contact me or place an order here.

Today I would like to share with you a set of creations which feature the Close To My Heart Featured collection “Holly & Ivy ”.
I made these cards with a goal in mind – I wanted them to be made quickly and easily. And I wanted to use up bits and pieces that I had left over from other creations and kits.I found in my pile of bit my Holly & Ivy “scraps” (X7273D), a set of the Holly & Ivy PML cards (X7273D), and an unopened packed on the Holly & Ivy Die cuts (X7273E). Add some Gold Glitter Gems (Z3312), shimmer brushes and card bases. Boom! Christmas Cards.
I wasn’t afraid to cut up the PML cards. I really like the white border around the edge of the card front – so the 4″ width of the PML cards is perfect. For patterns that needed to be more the full card I either trimmer off the ends – or one I even cut in half and overlapped the pieces to make it 5 1/4″ long. And I kept all the off cuts to use on the cards with strips and for some future cards. I feel there will be another blog post later with more Christmas Cards made with this collection of Holly & Ivy left overs.
This exclusive collection is only available until the end of October WSL.The Scrapbooking Workshop can be yours for just $69. Individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Hello and welcome aboard our October Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from Passionate About Pages Blog then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
Today I would like to share with you a couple of creations which feature the Close To My Heart’s October Stamp of the Month Wildflower Friendship (S2110).
I have created this layout, which I intend to be the front page of my 8 year old daughters baby album (not behind at all… hahahaha), using the beautiful As You Grown Paper Packet & Sticker Sheet (X8020S), along with the As You Grow Picture My Life Cards (X8020D) and a piece of the Textures Papers (X8031). Rather than the featured colours in the paper pack, I choose to use both sides of Peach Cardstock to double mat the photo.
The paper tab that the “cutie” sticker was placed on was cut from one of the PML Cards using the Tabs die set (Z3983). Rose Gold Liquid Pearls (Z3793) was used to create the pearl dots and on the beak of the owl.The owl itself was stamped onto another PML card, with some Gold Embellishing Thread (Z4054) tucked under her wing.
My next creation was inspired by a design by Alison Dunn, a fellow Maker in our team. The hedgehog was stamped onto vellum in Intense Black Ink, and then I coloured him with an array of pens and markers, including the Lepen range. I’ve added white bits with the new White Gel Pens (Z1513), and some Wildberry Dots (Z5008) and Flower Sequins (Z5025). I placed some white cardstock behind the vellum just to brighten the colour up a bit. The background was created with a blend of Chipped Sapphire (X3834) and Mermaid Lagoon (Z4521) Distress Oxides. I sprayed with a bit of water and then added some more Flower Sequins with Glitter Gems (ZZ5018) in their centres. This was then matted with black cardstock.
This exclusive D-size Wildflower Friendship stamp set (S2110) is only available in October and can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. To find out more about being a VIP please ask your Maker or go here. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features the Close To My Heart Star Cluster Thin Cut (CC9219). This die and it’s sister die the Circle Cluster, are perfectly design to go onto a Slimline Card Base. However, I love the design feature it can be on a scrapbook layout.
For this layout I started with two sheets of the Black Ore Specialty Cardstock. This paper has a shimmer to it’s surface. I then added the new White and Gilt Acrylic Gloss Sprays to give that Star System type look. The star thin cut I cut into the new Capri Glitter Paper. I mated the photos on the dark side of Papaya Cardtock. The gold stars were cut with my Cricut our of the Gold Metallic Paper. I choose to glue these and the Capri stars down with the Tombom Mono Adhesive. The sticks titles and words are from the Love Story (Black) Sticker Sheet. And I’ve even added a Love Story (Gold) Picture My Life Card. I also used the new White Gel Pen to add the location and date.
This exclusive Slimline Celebration collection is only available until the end of October, WSL. It can be purchased as a bundle, or individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from Passionate About Pages then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart Featured collection “Pumpkin Spice”. I love CTMH have listened to all their different markets, and taken into account our different terms. In the sticker sheet you will find both Fall and Autumn in various stickers. Yay!!! And the patterns and designs are fabulous that we can totally use here in Australia.
This layout was using up strips of patterns from the Pumpkin spice collection and I’ve added in some pieces from the mix in paper pack (x9032) too, including the plaid base sheet. And an odd zip strip from older packs that suited well in the colour tones. I’ve embellished with some of the Wood Stickers (X7272E), and stamped with Jubilee Borders (z4097) in Paprika Ink for the pattern stripped. The title came from Love Story – Scrapbooking (Z3990)
This layout was inspired by the artwork on p24 of the Sep/Oct Seasonal Catalogue. I choose to add in with the Pumpkin Spice pieces some mix ins papers, sage cardstock and dotty stickers I had floating around on my desk top. A few of the stickers from the Pumpkin Spice sticker sheet, and the wood stickers. The base paper is from the Mix Ins again and I’ve choose to double mat with Papaya cardstock.
After making the layout I had some strips pieces left over. So I decided to make a card. The sentiment, stamped in Paprika ink, is from the new Operation Smile stamp set – Smile Big (D2063). $7 from each stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile.
This exclusive Pumpkin Spice collection is only available until the end of October, WSL. The Scrapbooking Workshop can be yours for just $70.50 (G1237). Individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Hello and welcome aboard our September Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from Creative Inspirations then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
Today I would like to share with you a couple of cards which feature the Close To My Heart’s September Stamp of the Month – Grateful For This Life (S2109).
Both of these cards are featuring CTMH’s Shimmer Trim, it’s one of my favourite products, and in the NEW Catalogue released TODAY (1st Sept 2021) there are SIX new colours. SO I just had to use some. And the new colour of the year is Wildberry. So I’ve featured that too. The Wildberry stitched ribbon is quite stiff, sol it holds it’s shape well.
This exclusive D-size Grateful For This Life stamp set (only available in September) can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here.
