We’ve made it to round 3 of the Card Chain Swap that I started in May. It’s a fun journey with 9 other Australian demonstrators. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia. Each of us designed a card (in mailing round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything / Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. This is the second card in this series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

My card below was the 9th version of the card made by Sharni Green a fellow Victorian. So if you want to see how the design started out be sure to check hers out first and follow around in order. Some of the ladies blog and some share to their Facebook Pages (or both).

My card is made using the Joyful Days Memories and More Cards, some coloured cardstock, Traditional Sparkling Sequins, Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. The red plaid triangles are a 3×4″ Memories and More card cut into a 3×3″ square and then into triangles. I embossed a 6×4″ piece of the Mossy Meadow Cardstock and used the red triangles as a template to cut the off the corners on the embossed pieces (of course I used those in another card later). And for another fun thing – the emphemera pack pieces (my sentiment in the wreath) come complete with an adhesive back. So fast and simple to use.
