Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s Cape Cod papers and the Embelishments.

To make this shaker card I used the toffee coloured woodgrain pattern paper from the Cape Cod paper pack with stickers (X7294S) cut to be slightly smaller than the card front (X254) and inked the edges in the Toffee Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2828). Then from the palm leaf pattern side I cut the inside circle for the base of my shaker – using the Circle Shaker Window Thin Cuts (Z4309). I cut the frame of the skaker from some Toffee Card stock (X5950) using the dark side of the cardstock. In the middle of the shaker base I attached one of the stickers from the matching sticker sheets. I then added some Blue Belle Sequins (Z3736) and some clear loose gems from my stash.

I wanted to use some of the Cape Cod Acrylic shapes from the embellishmewnt pack (X7294E) inside the shaker, so I choose to put two layers of the shaker foam before adding my acetate circle (Z4310). I stuck down the Toffee frame and then added more of the Cape Cod embellishments for decoration. I like this embelllishment pack as it has a mix of die cut shapes in two colours and also some blue acrylic shapes.
