Whoo hoo! Round 3 of the Card Chain Swap Cards that we started in April. It’s a fun journey with 9 other Australian demonstrators. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia. Each of us designed a card (in mailing round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything / Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. We then share these as blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.

My card below was the 5th version of the card made by Ros Davidson, another fellow Victorian. So, if you want to see how the design started out be sure to check hers out first and follow around in order. Some of the ladies’ blog and some share to their Facebook Pages (or both).

For this card I used the ‘Sunflower Fields’ Designer Series Paper (#168351). I was very luck to have been given a pack of this paper as a sneak peak in June when on the Incentive Trip is Alaska (Less than 1% of demonstrators earn this trip with Stampin’ Up!). So at the time I was excited to be able to play. And perfect timing as this is now available as part of the September releases.

I fussy cut the sunflowers and leaves out to place on the lift up front panel. Adding some of the gold ‘Flower Accents’ (#165171 – currently in last chance) to really make the flowers pop.
