Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s True Love Featured collection.

This layout was created with the left overs I had after making up the Workshop Your Way Kits. I love to make up the layouts in both the standard and deluxe kit. Plus I make the card kit as well. And then I have fun playing with the left overs to see what extra I can create.

And I almost always turn to one of the how-to books for inspiration. With this pattern I turned the left hand layout 90 degrees to the left so that I could have my stripes all going the same way – I had two pieces of striped paper left but going in different directions. And the pattern called for 5×12″ pieces of paper where I’ve put the stripes, but I only have 4×12″. Don’t ever feel that you need to follow a pattern exactly. They are guide, an inspiration source.

So this is a mix of papers, compliments and the cut apart sheet. I’ve stuck stickers together to make new flower clusters. Cut others apart to make two halves to spread under the title. Plus added gold glitter gems. After all, you always need glitter right? Right!
