Happiness Never Grows Old

Hello and welcome aboard our December Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from ArtyMaz then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s December’s Stamp of the Month “Happiness Never Grows Old”.

In the first card I stamped in Versa Mark Ink and then heat embossed with Princess Gold Embossing powder. The I’ve rubbed Distress Oxides over the embossing – I used Peeled Paint and Abandoned Coral. Then I rubbed over each colour with a dry tissue to remove the ink from the embossed areas. The wooden sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Wooden Sentiments Z3868. And I’ve added a swirl of Gold Embellishing Thread.

The second card I stamped in Intense Black ink. This is perfect for colouring with a wet medium. I coloured using the Peach and Green Apple Shimmer Brushes. The wooden title is from the Love Today Wood Title Z3844.

This exclusive D-size S2012 Happiness Never Grows Old stamp set (only available in December) retails at $34 or it can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more, with your CTMH Maker OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

I’d love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop Passionate About Pages.

Until next time,

Happy Crafting
