Eat Play Love

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Eat Pray Love Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Lauren CTMH Craftings, then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a card creation which features Close To My Heart Eat Play Love Featured collection.

This cute Z folded card with the pop out sentiment is really simple to make. Fold the card front in half back towards itself. This create the Z shape when looked at it from the end. The I placed the die in position to cut the shape – but I only want to cut half of the shape out of the inside fold of the card (in the top right picture you can see the half hexagon shape hole on the inside of the card front. Doing this half cut was easy – in my Cuttlebug, I placed the die and case base on the edge of the plate – so that only half the die was on the plate. Thus only half cut. The front sentiment pieces were created using some of the thin cuts – scalloped circle and stitched hexagons. The die cuts them selves were cut from some of the Eat Pray Love Picture My Life Cards, and the same for the die cuts used in the centre for writing on. Using one of the cards that was designed as a bit of a journaling box gave me space to stamp my own sentiment on the Happy Birthday Card.

This exclusive Eat Play Love collection is only available until the end of April 2021 or while stocks last.
