Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Isabella Blog Hop.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart Featured collection “Isabella”. I love the Mediterranean feel of these papers and instantly thought of my photos waiting to be scrapbooked from Italy. But they would defiantly go with a variety of themes. The beautiful square grid pattern paper is just fabulous to cut up and feature.

In the layout below (designed by my friend Doreen Camilleri), I have used 12″ strips that are 3 grid rows high and some strips of matching cardstock. The BEST title was a left over from the Isabella Scrapbooking Workshop Kit and the memories comes from the “Love This” Acryclic Titles (Z3852). Plus a few other left over acrylic shapes from other kits.

The next layout, again a design by Doreen, is another simple creation with those beautiful pattern squares and some matching cardstock. The photo mats on this one are 6×4″ – so you just need to trim a little bit off your photos.

And my friend Charlotte Burns showed me this card that the patterned squares were perfect for. It will also work with squares of other papers and cardstock.
