Holiday Cards

Hello and welcome aboard our Holiday Cards Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Becca-Expressions then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I’d like to share with you some Holidays Cards that I created using my left overs from a Holly & Ivy paper packet and the stamp set Holly & Ivy Scrapbooking (D2050). The sentiment came from D2052 For All Occasions. And yes these are very typical Christmas cards for me – where I am using a lot of strips.

For those who follow my blog, yes there cards do resemble cards I shared last month using Holly & Ivy papers and PML cards. I said then that I’d be back with more cards from these fabulous papers. Again I am using up all the bits and pieces that I had left after creating layouts and other cards. I don’t know about you, but I always seem to end up with lots of odd strips in a variety of thicknesses. There are off cuts from PML cards, there are left over Holly & Ivy Die Cuts, and of course zip strips. I’ve stamped in Candy Apple Exclusive Stamp Pad and the Intense Black Stamp Pad. I just love the rich black that it gives when you stamp. on some cards I’ve added some Gold Glitter Gems too.
