Today I would like to share with you some creations which feature the Close To My Heart Sweet Safari Collection.
I know I showed this last post with the doodled boarders. But this time I want to point out how well the Jan-Feb Mix In Papers work so well with the Sweet Safari Papers.
This layout uses the Sweet Safari Picture My Life Cards for headings and as a journaling spot. I’ve added a few of the Puffy Stickers as well for embellishments.
This layout is using some of the left over exclusive papers from the Sweet Safari Workshop Kit. And I love the Letter Tiles Stamps and Thin Cuts (Z3920) – in this case I stamped directly onto the Kraft Card Base Page.
This exclusive Sweet Safari collection is only available until the end of February, while stocks last.
The Sweet Safari Scrapbooking Workshop can be yours for just $62. Individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s February Stamp of the Month – Doodled Borders.
I love these Doodled Borders to create my own custom patterned cardstock to further extend the patterns of a paper pack – in this layout I used Sweet Safari and the Jan/Feb Mix In Papers. I also used the stamp set D1997E Months of the Year February – these are a new series of stamps that CTMH have released, one for each month of the year, be sure to add an E to the stamp number to get the Southern Hemisphere versions to match our seasons and events.
Some of the Doodled Borders
The left stamp set is D1997, whilst the right is D1997E. Of course you can choose which ever set suits your needs.
The Doodled Borders are also great to use to create patterns on cards too. The following card was designed by my friend Tammy on the new CTMH Slim Line Cards. Tammy created this horizontal version and I then created a vertical one. These cards use Peach and Black inks, peach cardstock and the peach patterned paper from the Jan/Feb Mix In Papers.
This exclusive D-size Doodled Borders stamp set (only available in February) can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here. If you would like to become a VIP you can get more information here.

Today I would like to share with you a couple of cards which feature Close To My Heart’s January featured collection “Happiness Lives Here”.
This first card uses some left over Mix Ins from the Nov/Dec catalogue combined with the Happiness Lives here stickers (from the Paper Pack that comes with the sticker sheet) and some of the Happiness Lives Here Wood Shapes. This was a fun quick card that I made as a Congratulations for a friend having a baby girl.
Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I love to use up the scraps to create cards and layouts. So this selection of cards is no different. Made using the left overs that I had after creating both the Happiness Lives Here Scrapbook Workshop and Cardmaking Workshop kits.
A very simple design – the centre piece could be either a neutral pattern or white daisy cardstock 3 3/4″ x 5″. I started with the bottom left corner and glued down strips of left over pattern papers and coordinating cardstock on the diagonal. The I did the top left corner on the opposite diagonal. Turn your rectangle over and trim of the overhang. Adhere to the card base and add a sentiment/embellishments as desired.
This exclusive “Happiness Lives Here” collection is only available until the end of February, WSL. The Scrapbooking Workshop can be yours for just $62. Individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

If you have arrived here from Lauren’s CTMH Craftings then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s January Stamp of the Month.
Both of these cards use a variety of coloured inks, you could easily choose ones to suit the person you’re giving them to. I choose Ballerina, Lemonade, Mint, and Wisteria as the main colours of both cards. Plus added some Sapphire to match the Acrylic Shapes from the “Hugs and Hello Acrylic Sentiments Z3848”. Both cards are stamped straight onto the card base, with the acrylic title being held on with Micro Glue Dots.
This last card uses the same colours, except I’ve added Blue Belle, and swapped the Sapphire for Raspberry. On top of the raspberry star shaped “thank you” I’ve added liquid glass for some extra dimension. I love the look liquid glass adds to things.
This exclusive D-size Every Thank You stamp set (S2101) (only available January) can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here.

Hello and welcome aboard our December Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from ArtyMaz then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s December’s Stamp of the Month “Happiness Never Grows Old”.
One stamping method yet two ways to finish off.
In the first card I stamped in Versa Mark Ink and then heat embossed with Princess Gold Embossing powder. The I’ve rubbed Distress Oxides over the embossing – I used Peeled Paint and Abandoned Coral. Then I rubbed over each colour with a dry tissue to remove the ink from the embossed areas. The wooden sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Wooden Sentiments Z3868. And I’ve added a swirl of Gold Embellishing Thread.
The second card I stamped in Intense Black ink. This is perfect for colouring with a wet medium. I coloured using the Peach and Green Apple Shimmer Brushes. The wooden title is from the Love Today Wood Title Z3844.
This exclusive D-size S2012 Happiness Never Grows Old stamp set (only available in December) retails at $34 or it can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more, with your CTMH Maker OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. Hello and welcome aboard our Comfort and Joy Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from Arty Maz then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
I apologize in advance – this is a rather long post. But it’s full of some very pretty things. So I promise it’ll be worth it.
Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart Featured collection “Comfort and Joy” combined with some of the papers and embellishments from the Annual Ideas Catalogue. These creations I made over the weekend at the official Close To My Heart Album Retreat. Prior to Covid these Album Retreats were run face to face, but only from Home Office in Utah, USA. And whilst I have been to one of these in UTAH – it’s not an affordable option every time. And they run around 3 a year. So an upside to Covid is that these Album Retreats are being run virtually. I’ll talk more at the end of this post about next years events.
For Album Retreat you pre-purchased a kit, that was mailed out to use. The Kit contained – pre-cut pieces for 20 pages (all packed beautifully by layout), backing papers for layouts, an E size stamp set (an E Size stamp set has two full 6×6 sheets of stamps in the one packet), and two other stamp and thin cut sets, embellishments (including a full 12×12 sticker sheet, a sheet of glitter die cuts, a bottle of Stickles, wooden stars, and black velvet ribbon), stencil, and a set of mini blending tools. Besides these supplies I had to supply my inks, adhesives and tools such as trimmers etc. And then the entire event was run via a private Facebook Group. Each layout was done individually as a Live video, that was then saved so that you can watch it again or at a later time. I was crazy and got up at 2am each day and participated live. I just love the vibe of doing it live.
So now I’d like to share all the layouts and talk through some of the cool things that I learned along the way.
This was the opening page for the Album. I love the gold foil on some of the stickers in the Comfort and Joy Sticker Sheet. The poinsettia flowers are from the Comfort and Joy Scrapbooking Stamp and Thin Cut Set.
I’ve added some fun flip flaps to this layout so that I could add some extra photos I had from this Christmas Lunch. The beautiful flower clusters are a combination of stamps, stickers and die cuts. The die cuts have had fun details added to them with Platinum Stickles.
This layout involved some random stamping on the background cardstock. The “splodges” on the white squares are created using the smooshing technique with Distress Oxide inks – Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple mixed together with some water. The green paper banner on the right layout has come from the Lovely Paper Pack.
In this layout we added stickles onto some of the stamped leaves, and also onto the wooden stars. The wood grain papers have come from the Wood Grain Paper Pack.
This was a fun layout that used inks stenciled onto the paper – using a stencil that was included in the kit. Then combined with stamps, glitter die cuts and wooden shapes.
For this cute page we covered a piece of cardstock with blended Distress Oxides and spritzed with water to activate the Oxides. Plus we used a fussy cut stamped piece of cardstock to create the scallop boarder. We even coated the wooden starts in the oxides. Plus stickles direct onto the page to create fun embellishments.
This fun star layout was by paper weaving the strips. So much easier than it looks I promise. Great way to use up zip strips too off your papers.
This fun layout had us creating paper envelopes as a fun way to include small photos.
More Oxide use – this time direct onto patterned papers.
More stenciling and combining cardstock, stickers, and stamping as embellishments. More papers from the Lovely Paper Packet.
These Christmas trees were created by folding some cardstock rectangles. The alphabet and banners is the Pennant Banner Alphabet and Thin Cut Set.
Again some distress oxides, some blended on the paper with some selective stencil ink activation, and some other that was just through a stencil.
So in 2021 Close To My Heart are offering 4 Virtual Album Retreats. The first being the 15/16 January 2021 (that’ll be 16/17 January for Australia). Bookings for this event will open on the 5th of November. And it will sell out. It is open to both Makers and Customers So if you are interested in finding out more about this fabulous event please contact your CTMH Maker, if you don’t have a Maker and would like to know more you can contact me here. Whilst it is a big investment. To come away from the weekend with 20 fabulous pages, learnt new techniques and added some stamps and thin cuts to my stash – it is totally worth it.
This exclusive Comfort and Joy paper collection is only available until the end of October while stocks last. The Workshop Collection can be yours for just $62. Individual components can be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s October Stamp of the Month – With all my Love.
I can imagine lots of uses for this stamp set. But I decided to just focus on the sentiments and use them onto cards I was already planning using some of our other great products.
Using the Heart Background die and some paper scraps, combined with silver embellishing thread and some of the white flower sequins that I coloured with a pink tri-blend marker.
This time using the Floral Background die and the Stitched Scalloped Brackets. Combined with some fussy cut flowers from the stamp set. I’ve also added stickles and liquid pearls and gold embellishing thread.
Using the new 3D Flower Dies, the banner is from the Waterfall Die set and the background is the Stitched Lattice Background Die. Of course I’ve added lots of shimmer brush too.
This exclusive D size “With All My Love” stamp set (only available in October) can be yours for just $34. Or for only $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80.
If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here. I’m also happy to tell you more about the NEW VIP Club that Close To My Heart has started this month.
Hello and welcome aboard our Party Time Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

Today I would like to share with you a couple of creations which features Close To My Heart’s Collection “Party Time”.
These two layouts were created using the Party Time Paper and Sticker Pack. Teamed up with the yellow acrylic stars. I love this paper paper as it is double sided – each side has a different colour variation. So you can make you layout more pink or blue based depending upon your preference.
Lastly I made the card below using the new Waterfall Thin Cut Dies and the Party Time Papers. This time I added some of the new Lemon Shimmer Trim and also stamped Lagoon stars onto the white ribbon. Stamping on white ribbon is a great way to get the perfect embellishment to match your card or layout. But be sure to let the ink dry for at least 1/2 an hour before using.
I love that the Waterfall Die set comes with the stitched square, the scalloped square, a circle and two different banners to help you make the perfect sized decorations.
Some other creations from the Close To My Heart Art Studio.
This exclusive Party Time Collection is available for the life of the New 2020/21 Annual Catalogue.
This Paper Collection and stickers can be yours for just $AU25. The paper can also be purchased without stickers and there is lots of fun embellishments and stamps to go with any Party theme. You can be ordered from your CTMH consultant. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here.
I’d love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Kimmy Adds Sparkle.
