Flowers For You

Hello and welcome aboard our May “Flowers For You” Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Creative Inspirations then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a couple of creations which features Close To My Heart’s May Stamp of the Month “Flowers For You”. The first is a double page layout, that was created using the new Make It From Your Heart Vol 5 How To Book. I’m totally crushing on this book at the moment.

I created this layout using a mix of the Lovely Paper and Sticker Pack (X8015S) and the NEW Hillside Cottage Paper and Sticker Pack (X7268S). The stamped images are in Intense Black Ink and then coloured with Shimmer Brushes. Whilst you can’t see it in this photos – colouring the shimmer brush over the black leaves and other areas was really effective. I’ve added a wooden title from the Love This Wood Title (Z3845), Daisy Meadows Enamel Dots (X7266E), and Springtime Flower Sequins (Z3874) with a Bitty Sparkle (Z1263) in the centre.

And this card was made by my Downline Tammy. She gave me this card as a thankyou. She has stamped onto the Silver Foil Paper (Z3366). This is an easel style card. To hold the upright piece inplace she has used a black acrylic heart from the Hillside Cottage Shapes (X7268E). This cute shapes pack is a mix of wood and acrylic pieces.

This exclusive D-size (Flowers For You stamp set (only available in May) can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here.

I’d love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop Passionate About Pages.

Eat Play Love

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Eat Pray Love Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Lauren CTMH Craftings, then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a card creation which features Close To My Heart Eat Play Love Featured collection.

This cute Z folded card with the pop out sentiment is really simple to make. Fold the card front in half back towards itself. This create the Z shape when looked at it from the end. The I placed the die in position to cut the shape – but I only want to cut half of the shape out of the inside fold of the card (in the top right picture you can see the half hexagon shape hole on the inside of the card front. Doing this half cut was easy – in my Cuttlebug, I placed the die and case base on the edge of the plate – so that only half the die was on the plate. Thus only half cut. The front sentiment pieces were created using some of the thin cuts – scalloped circle and stitched hexagons. The die cuts them selves were cut from some of the Eat Pray Love Picture My Life Cards, and the same for the die cuts used in the centre for writing on. Using one of the cards that was designed as a bit of a journaling box gave me space to stamp my own sentiment on the Happy Birthday Card.

This exclusive Eat Play Love collection is only available until the end of April 2021 or while stocks last.

The Scrapbooking Workshop can be yours for just $63.  Individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Daisy Meadows

If you have arrived here from Lauren’s CTMH Craftings, then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart Featured collection “Daisy Meadows”. I’m waiting on some photos this Easter to add to these pages. Fingers crossed Covid plays nice and we can make it to some of the local Easter Egg Hunts.

On these layouts I’ve used the Daisy Meadows Scrapbooking Stamp and Thin Cut Set (Z3932), Cinnamon Exclusive Ink, Intense Black Exclusive Ink, Gold Glitter Gems and Watercolour Paints.

And what day of creating would be complete with out a few cards? Not on my crafting days. This time around I also used the stamp set Just A Note (A1272).

And don’t think that Daisy Meadows is all bunnies, eggs and flowers. The alternative sides to these papers gives lots of alternatives – I’ve used the back sides on the card on the right.

This exclusive Daisy Meadows collection is only available until the end of April, while stocks last. The Scrapbooking Workshop can be yours for just $62.  Individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Today I would like to share with you some creations which feature the Close To My Heart Sweet Safari Collection.

I know I showed this last post with the doodled boarders. But this time I want to point out how well the Jan-Feb Mix In Papers work so well with the Sweet Safari Papers.

This layout uses the Sweet Safari Picture My Life Cards for headings and as a journaling spot. I’ve added a few of the Puffy Stickers as well for embellishments.

This layout is using some of the left over exclusive papers from the Sweet Safari Workshop Kit. And I love the Letter Tiles Stamps and Thin Cuts (Z3920) – in this case I stamped directly onto the Kraft Card Base Page.

This exclusive Sweet Safari collection is only available until the end of February, while stocks last.

Doodled Borders

Hello and welcome aboard our February Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Doodled Border Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Passionate About Pages Blog then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s February Stamp of the Month – Doodled Borders.

I love these Doodled Borders to create my own custom patterned cardstock to further extend the patterns of a paper pack – in this layout I used Sweet Safari and the Jan/Feb Mix In Papers. I also used the stamp set D1997E Months of the Year February – these are a new series of stamps that CTMH have released, one for each month of the year, be sure to add an E to the stamp number to get the Southern Hemisphere versions to match our seasons and events.

The Doodled Borders are also great to use to create patterns on cards too. The following card was designed by my friend Tammy on the new CTMH Slim Line Cards. Tammy created this horizontal version and I then created a vertical one. These cards use Peach and Black inks, peach cardstock and the peach patterned paper from the Jan/Feb Mix In Papers.

This exclusive D-size Doodled Borders stamp set (only available in February) can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here. If you would like to become a VIP you can get more information here.

Happiness Lives Here

Hello and welcome aboard our “Happiness Lives Here” Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Lauren’s CTMH Craftings then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a couple of cards which feature Close To My Heart’s January featured collection “Happiness Lives Here”.

This first card uses some left over Mix Ins from the Nov/Dec catalogue combined with the Happiness Lives here stickers (from the Paper Pack that comes with the sticker sheet) and some of the Happiness Lives Here Wood Shapes. This was a fun quick card that I made as a Congratulations for a friend having a baby girl.

Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I love to use up the scraps to create cards and layouts. So this selection of cards is no different. Made using the left overs that I had after creating both the Happiness Lives Here Scrapbook Workshop and Cardmaking Workshop kits.

A very simple design – the centre piece could be either a neutral pattern or white daisy cardstock 3 3/4″ x 5″. I started with the bottom left corner and glued down strips of left over pattern papers and coordinating cardstock on the diagonal. The I did the top left corner on the opposite diagonal. Turn your rectangle over and trim of the overhang. Adhere to the card base and add a sentiment/embellishments as desired.

This exclusive “Happiness Lives Here” collection is only available until the end of February, WSL. The Scrapbooking Workshop can be yours for just $62.  Individual components can also be ordered from your CTMH Maker. If you do not have a Maker please contact me or place an order here.

Every Thank You

Hello and welcome aboard our January Stamp Of The Month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop featuring “Every Thank You S2101”.

If you have arrived here from Lauren’s CTMH Craftings then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s January Stamp of the Month.

Both of these cards use a variety of coloured inks, you could easily choose ones to suit the person you’re giving them to. I choose Ballerina, Lemonade, Mint, and Wisteria as the main colours of both cards. Plus added some Sapphire to match the Acrylic Shapes from the “Hugs and Hello Acrylic Sentiments Z3848”. Both cards are stamped straight onto the card base, with the acrylic title being held on with Micro Glue Dots.

This last card uses the same colours, except I’ve added Blue Belle, and swapped the Sapphire for Raspberry. On top of the raspberry star shaped “thank you” I’ve added liquid glass for some extra dimension. I love the look liquid glass adds to things.

This exclusive D-size Every Thank You stamp set (S2101) (only available January) can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more! OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80. If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here.

Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s December’s Stamp of the Month “Happiness Never Grows Old”.

In the first card I stamped in Versa Mark Ink and then heat embossed with Princess Gold Embossing powder. The I’ve rubbed Distress Oxides over the embossing – I used Peeled Paint and Abandoned Coral. Then I rubbed over each colour with a dry tissue to remove the ink from the embossed areas. The wooden sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Wooden Sentiments Z3868. And I’ve added a swirl of Gold Embellishing Thread.

The second card I stamped in Intense Black ink. This is perfect for colouring with a wet medium. I coloured using the Peach and Green Apple Shimmer Brushes. The wooden title is from the Love Today Wood Title Z3844.

This exclusive D-size S2012 Happiness Never Grows Old stamp set (only available in December) retails at $34 or it can be yours for just $9, when you place an order of $80 or more, with your CTMH Maker OR FREE for VIP Customers with qualifying order of $80.
