Hello and welcome aboard our Sweet Girl Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from Creating with Kara Davies then you are in the right place.
If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.
Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s Sweet Girl Featured collection.
This card has a concertina centre that allows you to add extra stamped images or setinments. And it’s a bit of a surprise when it’s opened.
This card is very simple to make. Using one of our CTMH card bases you will need a strip of patterned paper 4 1/4″ x 12″. If you have a direction pattern you need to decide which way your card orientated (landscape or portrait) to determine which way it should go.
The score along the long side at 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″, 8″, 9″. And then fold into a concertina. Alternating Valley and Mountain Folds. See my diagram below.
The squares are 1 3/4″ of cardstock with a 1 1/2″ square of White Daisy cardstock for the stamping. My stamping was done with the S1905 Best Friends May Stamp of the Month in Charcoal Ink. And the carefully coloured using watercolour pencils, with some gentle blending with the water brush.

This exclusive Sweet Girl Paper Collection is available until the end of August. Below are some art works made by our amazing CTMH Art Department.
The Sweet Girl Workshop Your Way collection can be yours for just $56. There is also a Deluxe Workshop Kit for $81.50. Individual components, or even a card workshop, can be ordered from your CTMH consultant. These are pictured below.
If you do not have a consultant please contact me or place an order here on my website.
I’d love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Doreen Watkin’s Blog. Happy Blog Hopping.

Your card reminds me of the flag books I used to make many years ago, but much cuter. I love how you added little images from the Stamp of the Month to each little “flags” & I adore the simple but very effective front of the card.
