In May, I started a fun journey with 9 other Australian demonstrators. We call it a “Card Swap Chain”. It is a card version of what is called “Chinese Whispers” in Australia. Each of us designed a card (round 1) and sent it off to one of the other participants. That person CASE-d (Copy And Share Everything / Copy And Selectively Edit) the card and send their version on to the next person. The card made its way around until finally a version came home to the maker. This is the first card in this series of blog hops for each of the card designs to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.
My card below was the 7th version of the card made by Julia Quinn from Queensland. So if you want to see how the design started out be sure to check hers out first and follow around in order. Some of the ladies blog and some share to their Facebook Pages (or both).

I loved the fun folds used in this card, but I wanted to create with some papers that I’d been loving that had arrived in my most recent order at the time. Kintsugi Inspirations. The trick is to place the centre panel on a hinge so that it pops out when standing up open. If you’d like to see what I used for this card you can go here.
Sometimes the cards change so much that if you only saw the first and the last card, you wouldn’t think that they are on the same chain. Sometimes they don’t change a lot at all. If you follow the chain through you can see where the changes happened and understand the evolution.
Hop around and see everyone’s version of this fun card. Click the link below.

Until next time, happy crafting.

Danielle this is stunning. This paper really changes the look of the card away from the landscape images. And the pattern makes it look like you’ve done way more work than you have – bonus!
